The Trump Turnberry Hotel is one of Scotland's prestigious golfing resorts. Originally opened in 1906, this five star Hotel presents an imposing, classic facade overlooking the championship golf courses to the Firth of Clyde.

The Hotel was re-opened in June 2016 after a substantial 9 month refurbishment. All bedrooms in the main hotel and the extensive public spaces have been redecorated to a high standard, with marble bathrooms included in every room.

Deluxe rooms and suites offer stunning views across the Ailsa and King Robert the Bruce golf courses to sea and to the iconic Ailsa Craig out in the Firth of Clyde.

In addition to the main Hotel the resort offers Lodges and self-contained self-catering apartments, ideal for groups who wish to enjoy Turnberry but with added privacy and their own, exclusive, lounge areas.

Golf:

The Turnberry resort has two championship standard golf courses, the King Robert the Bruce and the Ailsa. The Ailsa has been an Open Championship venue on four occasions, famous particularly for Tom Watson's 1977 Duel in the Sun win over Jack Nicklaus and his close miss to Stewart Cink in 2009.

Please note:

While there are lifts, this is a large, slightly wandering building. Some rooms do require going up or down a few stairs and some are a long walk from the lift. Luggage assistance to and from rooms is available. Some rooms have views of the hotel building, rather than external views. If you wish a course or ocean view room please request this when booking.

Dining:

The 1906 restaurant is the classic, but not overly formal, restaurant at the hotel. It is a large and impressive room with views over the course. It has been re-invented as an Italian restaurant, Il Tramonto at 1906. A Chef's Table experience, located in the heart of the main kitchen, is also available for a minimum of 6 and maximum of 10 guests.

Leisure:

The Hotel Spa offers a 20 metre swimming pool with whirlpool and outdoor terrace, along with sauna and steam rooms and relaxation rooms. There is a gym and fitness studio.
