The Salt Lodge

The Salt Lodge is contemporary new property at the Yacht Haven at Troon Harbour, ensuring plenty of sea views.

Rooms options are Standard, Premium and Family with a number of rooms also being pet friendly. Every room has a bedroom, a separate living area with a sofa and compact kitchen space, giving the option of self-catering. Family rooms have two bedrooms plus a sofa bed.

Rooms are stylish and comfortable.

Troon is an excellent base for golf as the area is spoiled for choice when it comes to quality links. The championship courses of Royal Troon and Prestwick are close by and there are a host of other championship standard courses within a half hour drive.

The accommodation is a lodge rather than hotel and does not offer full service hotel facilities but The Salt Lodge is next door to Scotts Restaurant which serves breakfast between 8:30 and 11 am – breakfast should be booked in advance. Scotts serves food throughout the day from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm

Golf:

The nearest courses to The Salt Lodge are the two courses at Royal Troon Golf Club – the championship Old Course and the Portland Course – and the 3 municipal courses, the Lochgreen, Darley and Fullarton, right in the heart of Troon. Just a little farther afield, but within less than half an hour's drive, is an impressive choice of links courses including Kilmarnock Barassie, Dundonald, Western Gailes, Gailes Links, Irvine and Prestwick.
