The Piersland House Hotel is an impressive mansion house hotel, set in beautiful grounds just on the edge of Troon, and about as convenient as you can get for Royal Troon Golf Club.

Formerly the home of the Johnnie Walker whisky family, the hotel has a range of accommodation. Bedrooms offer comfortable, contemporary styling while public areas include modern touches while showing off the orginal features of this glorious building.

Bedrooms at the Piersland House Hotel are in the Lodge, in the mews houses, or in the main building itself - both Standard and Superior rooms are available.

The Walker Bar and Restaurant is open for dinner daily, while The Red Bowl Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Friday to Sunday only, with menus based on local produce wherever possible.

Golf:

The Piersland House Hotel is just a very short walk to the clubhouse at Royal Troon Golf Club, which has two courses, the Old Course and the Portland Course. Troon has quality links to both the north and south with an impressive choice of championship standard courses including Western Gailes, Dundonald, Kilmarnock Barassie and Prestwick all within less than half an hour's drive.

Please note:

Mews rooms and Lodge rooms at the Piersland House Hotel are ground floor rooms. The bedrooms in the main house are on the first (upper) floor and there is no guest lift.

Bathrooms in standard doubles may offer a shower, or a bath with shower over. Lodge and Mews room bathrooms have baths with a shower over. Superior doubles, which are all in the main house will have either a bath with shower over or a separate shower and bath. If you have a preference please contact the hotel at the time of booking.

Mews rooms have an additional sofa bed in a lounge area.

Dining:

There are two restaurants at the Piersland House Hotel. The Walker Bar and Restaurant is daily for dinner until 9pm. The Red Bowl Restaurant is open Friday to Sundy for both lunch and dinner.
