The Old Loans Inn is a 4 star small hotel, country pub and restaurant in the village of Loans, near to Troon. There are 20 comfortable and well presented rooms which offer a high standard of accommodation in what was originally an 18th century coaching inn.

There is a choice of standard or deluxe rooms as well as a master suite.

Golf : The Old Loans Inn is just 5 minutes from Royal Troon Golf Club and is in an ideal location for exploring the excellent quality links along the Ayrshire coast – from Gailes Links, to Royal Troon, Prestwick and south to Turnberry.

There are no facilities other than The Old Loans Inn within the village of Loans and transport is required to visit Troon, Prestwick or elsewhere for alternative eating or drinking.

Some rooms are on the first (upper) floor of the hotel and there is no lift at the Old Loans Inn. All rooms have a shower over the bath, other than the Suite which has a shower.

There is ample parking by the Inn.

Dining:

The Inn has its own informal restaurant and bar which serves food throughout the day from breakfast and brunch onwards. There is also an outdoor area for eating and drinking in good weather.

Leisure:

Guests at the Old Loans Inn have complimentary access to the spa facilities at the sister property, The Gailes Hotel, around 10 minutes drive away.
