The format is very consistent across the chain. Rooms are normally a good size (with space for golf clubs), well presented with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms.

Around towns and cities it's generally easy to find a Premier Inn in the right location for your needs or interests. Be sure to check the actual location of the hotel on a map, rather than chose by the name – they may not be exactly where the name might suggest.

Also be sure to check what is nearby. All Premier Inns will either have a hotel restaurant or a family style bar and restaurant next door but for hotels outside of city centres you are likely to require transport for alternative dining options or an evening out.

Room rates will vary considerably depending on location and demand – the term 'budget' sometimes seems completely inappropriate - but great deals can be found.
