Maryculter House is a 40 bedroom, 4 star hotel on the banks of the River Dee to the south west of Aberdeen. The hotel offers easy access to the area's top inland and coastal links courses.

Maryculter House has much to commend it, including a long standing reputation for high standards of hospitality. This independently run 4 star hotel sitting on the banks of the River Dee is based around buildings that date back to 1227 and the Knights Templar. Currently in the process of a major refurbishment which will upgrade all bedrooms to stylish, modern rooms, the hotel offers a secluded setting.

There is an outdoor courtyard over-looking the river, ideal for sunny days, and large, landscaped gardens.

Golf:

Maryculter House is ideally located for accessing Aberdeenshire's leading golf courses, both inland and coastal. Just 5 minutes from the Aberdeen bypass you can be on the links of Royal Aberdeen or Murcar in less than half an hour. Peterculter, just on the opposite side of the river is 10 minutes away, while Banchory Golf Club is 20 minutes drive.

Maryculter House Hotel has a variety of room styles and sizes, including Classic, River view or Heritage rooms and suites. Some rooms have a bath, some a walk-in shower while suites offer both. If you have a preference please advise the hotel at the time of booking.

Rooms are over two floors. There is no lift at the hotel but ground rooms are available.

On site parking is available.

Dining:

The Hotel offers a full restaurant service daily with the addition of a light bites menu from noon until 5pm in Poachers Brasserie including local, seasonal ingredients. Private dining options are available, which can be tailored to group requirements.

Leisure:

Maryculter House sits in a secluded position on the banks of the River Dee and is able to offer fishing on its own private fishing beats on the Dee.
