Malmaison Glasgow

The second of the original two Malmaison Hotels, the Malmaison Glasgow opened in 1994 in a former church and has been a favourite Glasgow hotel ever since.

The hotel is a 4* boutique hotel which offers a range of bedrooms from Standard rooms through to Club rooms, Club Deluxe rooms and Suites. Decor, space and styling varies but all bedrooms are chic and comfortable with plush furnishings.

All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with both a bath and shower.

The shopping area of central Glasgow is walkable from the hotel or a quick trip in a taxi. Close by is the M8 motorway which connects the city centre to west and central Scotland and makes Glasgow Airport around 20 minutes away.

There is a choice of over 100 golf courses within an hour's drive of the Malmaison Glasgow, including coastal, heathland, moorland, parkland and championship links, catering for all levels and experience of golfers.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the chic and stylish Chez Mal Brasserie restaurant.

Golf:

There is an extensive choice of golf courses in and around Glasgow. The Malmaison Glasgow can serve as a base for visiting one of the over 100 courses within a one hour drive. Choose from quality parkland courses such as Pollok, Bishopbriggs, Haggs Castle, Cawder or Cathcart Castle – all of which are less than half an hour from the hotel. Eastwood, East Renfrewshire and Lenzie have a more moorland touch.

Heading west to the Ayrshire coast the championship standard links of Western Gailes, Dundonald and the Open Championship venue of Royal Troon are all within 45 minutes drive of the Malmaison hotel.

Please note:

All bedrooms at the Malmaison Glasgow hotel have an ensuite bathroom with both a bath and shower. However only Suites have a separate bath and shower, in all other rooms the shower is over the bath.

Dining:

The Brasserie restaurant is a relaxed venue serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is set in the moodily lit, vaulted basement of the Hotel. There is a separate Mal Bar which also serves bar food.

Parking:

There is no car parking on site. There is metred on street parking around the hotel. The nearest multi-storey is the Q Park at Waterloo Street, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Malmaison guests receive a reduction on costs at this car park.
