The Rusacks Hotel has a very traditional feel. Rooms have a Scottish touch to the furnishings, in keeping with the character of the building.

This impressive traditional building offers an unbeatable location for golfers in St Andrews - overlooking both the 1st and 18th holes of the St Andrews Old course. Guests can choose from Classic Rooms to Fairway and 18th Views or spacious Suites.

A new rooftop restaurant, Eighteen, has wonderful views of the Old Course and West Sands Beach and is described as a "laid-back but high-end dining experience". Eighteen is open for dinner daily as well as Sunday lunch.

Breakfast and afternoon tea is served in The Bridge, which has views over the 18th hole of the Old Course and the Swilcan Bridge. The One Under Bar has casual dining from midday onwards.

The Hotel also offers a golf concierge service to help with golfing arrangements.

Golf:

Rusacks is a couple of minutes walk to the 1st tee at the Old course and in an ideal location for playing all 6 St Andrews Links courses at the west side of the town, including the New and Jubilee courses.

St Andrews could occupy a full week of golf on its own with 10 golf courses in or close to the town and around 15 further courses within half an hour's drive of the town.

Please note:

Being mostly an older building, rooms at Rusacks vary in size and layout. Bathrooms also vary in size and layout – not all bathrooms have separate showers. While there is a lift at the hotel not all rooms can be accessed purely by the lift – some require a number of stairs. If you have any issues with stairs, or would prefer a particular room or bathroom layout, please mention your preferences with the hotel when booking.

There is very limited parking at, or around Rusacks, and guests with cars may have to pay for parking a little distance from the hotel.

Dining:

The main restaurant is on the top floor of the hotel and serves high quality good using local ingredients. The restaurant has views across the 18th and 1st holes of the Old Course, but only a few tables are by the window.

The One Under Bar has casual dining from midday onwards.
