Greywalls is a stunning and impressive example of Edwardian architecture and the ideal setting for a country house hotel. This 5 star property is on the edge of Gullane and sits alongside Muirfield golf course , overlooking the 9th and 18th holes.
Originally built as a 'dignified holiday home', Greywalls offers both character and charm. Surrounded by beautifully maintained walled gardens the hotel has a very tranquil setting. The hotel prides itself on discrete but high standards of service.
There are 23 bedrooms in total, with varied layouts - each individual in character. The main house bedrooms are furnished in keeping with the character of the building, while bedrooms in the small extension are more modern, but equally comfortable in styling. There are elegant public areas including the drawing room and panelled library, a cosy bar, a Chez Roux restaurant and a choice of dining rooms that can be used for private dining for groups.
Outside there is both a hard and grass tennis court, a croquet lawn and putting green.
Golf: There are 5 links golf courses in Gullane – Muirfield , the 3 courses at Gullane Golf Club and Luffness New Golf Club . Greywalls have a limited availability of times on Muirfield for hotel guests. The Hotel may also be able to arrange golf for guests at the two championship courses at nearby Archerfield . There are two excellent courses in North Berwick 10 minutes drive away, the West Links and the Glen .

Dining: Both lunch and dinner are available in the Chez Roux restaurant at Greywalls Hotel. The restaurant is spread across 4 rooms, including a Whisky room and Sunroom.
Leisure: Greywalls has both a hard tennis court and a grass tennis court in the grounds for guest use.
