The Fairmont St Andrews is set in over 520 acres high above St Andrews with superb views out to sea and across the town. There are two championship courses alongside the hotel, the Torrance – which has hosted Final Qualifying for the Open Championship at St Andrews - and the Kittocks.

The Fairmont St Andrews offers 209 guest rooms from Deluxe rooms to Executive Suites. Bedrooms are spacious with a contemporary style. One of the unique features of the Fairmont is that twin rooms offer two US standard queen size beds. All bathrooms have both a bath and separate walk-in shower, along with heated floors.

The facilities across the hotel are to the high standard you would expect from a five star restort hotel. There is a well equipped Spa complete with gym and pool, a choice of restaurants and bars as well as spacious public areas.

Golf:

The two championship golf courses at the resort are quite different in style. The Torrance is a Scottish links style course, which hosted Final Open Qualifying in 2010. The Kittocks is a clifftop coastal course, originally designed by Bruce Devlin, and permits buggy use.

St Andrews could occupy a full week of golf on its own with 10 golf courses in or close to the town and around 15 further courses within half an hour's drive of the town.

Dining:

The Squire restaurant is in the main atrium area of the Hotel. In addition the hotel has an Italian themed restaurant, La Cucina, and food is also served in the golf clubhouse at the St Andrews Bar and Grill.

Leisure:

The Spa at the Fairmont St Andrews has a 16 metre pool, a gymnasium with cardio equipment and weights, 10 individual treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room. A full range of treatments is available as well as fitness and training packages.
