Cromlix House is a charming and welcoming luxury 15 bedroom hotel in the Perthshire countryside. Purchased by tennis star Sir Andy Murray, who grew up in nearby Dunblane, Cromlix has been extensively renovated and offers guests elegant country house style accommodation.

The Hotel benefits from 34 acres of secluded woodlands and gardens, complete with a loch. As you might expect there is also a tennis court and tennis practice area!

Great care has been taken with the furnishings which are often specially sourced Scottish antiques. The public areas have a very traditional feel in keeping with the age of the property. The beautifully presented bedrooms are sympathetically furnished but with a modern touch. Each of the 10 bedrooms and 5 suites have different layouts and are individually styled.

The Chez Roux restaurant is in the glass walled conservatory and offers both lunch and dinner. Private dining can also be arranged in the Study, Billiards Room or Garden Room, each with their own character.

Cromlix is ideally located in central Scotland, around an hour from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.

Golf:

Golf in Perthshire offers delightful views of rolling hills and countryside. From Cromlix visit nearby Dunblane or Auchterarder Golf Clubs. There are a dozen courses in total within 30 minutes drive of Cromlix, including the three Championship courses at Gleneagles. The lovely Ferntower course at Crieff Golf Club is around 45 minutes drive from the Hotel.

Please note:

Cromlix is a traditional, and listed, historic building. There is no lift at the property and there is no ground floor room in the main building. Some rooms have baths, other have walk in showers, some offer both. If you have a preference please mention this to the Hotel when booking.

Dining:

Both lunch and dinner are served in the hotel's Chez Roux restaurant. Lunch is from 12 noon to 2pm, dinner from 7pm to 9:30pm. Guests are seated in the restaurant within half an hour after their reservation time, allowing for drinks and canapes and menu selection.

A Lounge menu is also served throughout the day, from 12noon to 10pm.

Leisure:

In addition to the tennis court, Cromlix also offers fishing on the private loch, a full sized snooker table and can arrange both archery and falconry displays. The loch is stocked with brown trout. Salmon fishing can be arranged at various locations within up to 30 miles of the Hotel. Additional activities that can be arranged on the Estate for groups include clay pigeon shooting, quad bikes or even mini highland games.
